The Resort Club Golf Group has great benefits for our golfing members. Our home course for the season is Boone Golf Club. We schedule individual Men’s and Women’s games every Monday morning.
We also schedule a mixed Scramble Game every Wednesday or Thursday depending on where we are playing. We play Boone Golf Club every other Wednesday, then alternate between Mountain Glen Golf Club in Newland and Mountain Aire Golf Club (Thursday’s) in West Jefferson. In addition, we have a monthly mixed Golf Scramble outing at Sugar Mountain Golf Club on a Saturday.
One of our members acts as the volunteer Golf ‘Commissioner’. He makes all the tee times, negotiates good rates, and puts the games and teams together for us. All you have to do is sign-up by the deadline and show up about 30 minutes prior to the first tee time of the day!
